Lulusan Kolej Vokasional Jadi Doktor Gigi. Seorang lulusan kolej vokasional didenda RM70,000 oleh Mahkamah Sesyen di Ayer Keroh hari ini selepas mengaku bersalah menjalankan perusahaan pergigian tanpa lesen di Bukit Katil, Januari lepas.
Hakim Norma Ismail menjatuhkan hukuman itu ke atas Nur Farahanis Ezatty Adli, 20, dari Alor Setar, Kedah yang mengaku bersalah sebaik jurubahasa membacakan pertuduhan terhadapnya.
Lulusan Kolej Vokasional Jadi Doktor Gigi. Mahkamah turut memerintahkan gadis itu jalani hukuman penjara 6 bulan jika gagal membayar denda berkenaan.
Mengikut pertuduhan, Nur Farahanis Ezatty didakwa menyediakan klinik pergigian swasta tanpa didaftarkan mengikut Seksyen 27 Akta Kemudahan dan Perkhidmatan Jagaan Kesihatan Swasta 1998 di Bakti Homestay, Jalan Bukit Katil, pada 10.15 malam, 25 Januari lepas.
Dia didakwa melakukan kesalahan mengikut subseksyen 4(1) akta itu dan boleh dihukum mengikut subperenggan 5(1)(a)(i) akta sama yang memperuntukkan denda tidak lebih RM300,000 atau penjara maksimum 6 tahun atau kedua-duanya.

Terdahulu, Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Kementerian Kesihatan Nurul Khairiyah Samsudin memohon mahkamah mengenakan hukuman setimpal dengan mengambil kira keselamatan dan kesihatan pesakit, berikutan proses menjalankan pendakap gigi hanya boleh dilakukan doktor bertauliah selain kes berkenaan bukan pertama di Melaka dan Malaysia.
